Founded in 2024 by Milica Mitrovic, Blue Avenue is a nomadic gallery striving to reimagine how art is experienced and collected. We curate exhibitions in distinctive venues, participate in international art fairs, and offer a dynamic online space for discovering and acquiring contemporary art. The gallery represents carefully selected artists across cultures and artistic mediums, bringing together abstract and figurative practices, emerging and established voices, traditional techniques and experimental visions.

Curation is central to the way the gallery shapes its narratives and values, whether within an exhibition context or through tailored corporate projects. It also allows the gallery to explore creative and sometimes unexpected frameworks, often developed in close collaboration with the artists, who remain the beating heart of the gallery.

Beyond representation, we advise collectors and companies on acquisitions, artistic initiatives, and bespoke projects, including those developed outside the gallery’s program. We also offer tailored art rental and leasing solutions for corporate environments, with the aim of creating cohesive, curated atmospheres that invite employees and clients to engage with contemporary art. BIOGRAPHY

Milica Mitrović

Milica Mitrovic is a cultural professional, curator and gallerist based in Paris. Before founding Blue Avenue in 2024, she built a rich international career in cultural and educational project management, notably working with UNESCO on initiatives that promote cultural diversity, ethical use of new technologies, and the safeguarding of intangible heritage. Milica holds a Master Degree in Geopolitics of Art and Culture from Université Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle. Her dissertation examined the legal, operational and sociological frameworks of Looting and the Illicit Trafficking of Cultural Property in Times of War. She also attended advanced studies in Cultural Policies at Université Paris VII Diderot and majored in Spanish Language and Hispanic Literatures at the University of Belgrade. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Serbian fluently.

Guided by a lifelong passion for art and classical music, and shaped by a rich exposure to diverse cultural expressions through her travels and work, Milica founded Blue Avenue as a space where art can be experienced with authenticity, curiosity, and care. The gallery reflects her belief that collecting is both a personal journey and a dialogue between cultures, generations, and ideas. It is equally a conversation with collectors and
institutions – one that requires a thoughtful ear, tailored guidance, and genuine engagement in their art-related pursuits. As advisor and curator, Milica is committed to an ethical, knowledgeable and professional approach to every client and project she undertakes.

She advocates their work with the aim of creating opportunities and encounters that help their professional growth.
